Our firm was retained by WJP Engineers to conduct storm water infiltration testing on their proposed Wind Farm project site.   The proposed Wind Farm will span through Conyngham Township of Columbia County, Union Township, West Mahanoy Township, and Mahanoy Township of Schuylkill County.  An additional 51 wind turbines were being constructed between Aristes and the existing Locust Ridge Wind Farm in Mahanoy Township are expected to power 20,000 more area homes.  The multimillion-dollar project, Locust Ridge II, is expected to completed in August by international power company Iberdrola Renewable Energies. 

Seven of the turbines will be in Conyngham Township, twelve turbines are to be installed in Mahanoy Township, five turbines in West Mahanoy Township and twenty-seven will be in Union Township.
